Hi. I’m Rochelle.
At the time of this writing, I am 37 years old.
I’ve had a very interesting life so far, but I’m not really sure if I did the right things financially. It wasn’t until I hit my thirties that I kicked my butt into gear and started getting really serious about my finances.
I’ve been a money moron all my life. It wasn’t until I experienced fear about my future that I realized I need to take care of myself. Up until then, I didn’t have a good relationship with money. After studying a little bit, I realized that there’s a lot of things that I really don’t know about personal finances.
Hence the title of this blog. I feel like maybe I’ve righted the ship a little bit, and that I’m ready to steam forward into the future. My goal is to assume that I don’t know everything, that I am a moron who needs to keep learning. I want to prove to myself that it’s not too late correct the mistakes I’ve made when I was younger. I need to show myself that no matter how old you are, it’s not too late to better yourself and to achieve the goals you want to accomplish.
Thanks for stopping by.
